Job Description

The Google Cloud Go-to-Market Strategy and Operations team acts as trusted advisors, partnering with Sales, Customer Engineering, Finance, Marketing, Partners and Google Cloud Consulting to plan, strategize, and run the business in a transformational way. As a Strategy and Operations Manager for EMEA, you will be responsible for defining, landing and executing on key strategic priorities to drive operational excellence, business growth, and productivity. Responsibilities include planning, goal setting, territory design, expansion plans, managing business activities, providing business insights, ensuring cross-functional alignment, driving strategic partnerships, and executing new initiatives. The goal is to align company priorities with day-to-day operations and evolve early-stage ideas into future growth initiatives. The role requires partnering with regional leadership to develop organizational strategy, driving initiatives to accelerate growth and scale, establishing operational cadence and metrics, running business reviews, measuring progress against goals, and identifying/implementing plans to address gaps.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 6+ years experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Sales Operations, etc.
  • Excellent data analysis and communication skills
  • Develop and execute strategic initiatives
  • Partner with regional leadership team
  • Manage business reviews and processes
Good to have:
  • MBA or other advanced degree
  • Ability to meet deadlines with high productivity
  • Executive storylining and communication skills

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 6 years of experience in Go-to-Market Strategy, Sales Operations, Strategy and Operations, Management Consulting, Finance, or Program Management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
  • Ability to meet deadlines with high productivity.
  • Excellent data analysis skills and ability to synthesize complex data into actionable business insights.
  • Excellent executive storylining and communication skills, and ability to craft a compelling narrative.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the regional leadership team to develop the organization’s strategy, including organization design, growth and business plan.
  • Drive the business forward by developing/executing initiatives to accelerate growth and scale.
  • Establish and shape the way we work, through operational cadence, content of reviews, improvement initiatives and metrics, insights and reporting.
  • Run the business for your region, own key processes such as business reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews.
  • Measure progress against goals, be aware of gaps and develop/implement plans to bridge them.
