Job Description

The Data Transformation Lead (DTL) at Google will be responsible for measuring solution design and ensuring client commitment to key data integration capabilities. This role requires strong communication and analytical skills to work with clients at all levels, establishing foundations for better media outcomes and accelerating AI innovation through projects like lead scoring and predictive lifetime value. The DTL will drive executive influence by articulating the business value of durable measurement and coordinating internal/external resources. This role focuses on helping retail customers achieve their objectives through data, technology, and measurement solutions aligned with business goals and sector priorities. Responsibilities include understanding the durable digital measurement infrastructure strategy, cultivating relationships with marketing and technology teams, developing executive partnerships, innovating with clients to increase data value, and working cross-functionally to synthesize business requirements. The DTL will also manage a business pipeline for product adoption.
Must have:
  • 5+ years experience in media analytics or related fields
  • Experience with Google products (Ads, DV360, etc.)
  • Experience with Big Data and Data Warehouses
  • Data transformation project planning & execution
  • Executive stakeholder influence & relationship building
  • Understanding of durable digital measurement infrastructure

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in media analytics, advertising sales, digital media and marketing, or consulting.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in identifying how Data Infrastructures, promoting Advertising Technology and Marketing Technology solutions, can lead to business value.
  • Experience with business and cross-functional teams and influence executive stakeholders internally and externally across all levels.
  • Experience with range of data transformation skills to plan and execute projects.
  • Experience working with Google products (e.g., Google Ads, DV360, Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, Ads Data Hub or Google Cloud) or similar products.
  • Experience with Big data and Data Warehouses (Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), Customer Data Platforms (CDPs), and Data Management Platforms (DMPs), targeting, etc.), tag management systems and web analytics.

As a Data Transformation Lead (DTL), you will be accountable for measurement of solution design and delivering client commitment for key data integration capabilities by owning the measurement narrative with clients at all levels. You will establish foundations that will ultimately drive better media outcomes and accelerate AI innovation through follow-on projects such as lead scoring and predictive lifetime value. You will drive executive influence by articulating the business value of durable measurement and coordinate the efforts of external and internal resources to accelerate infrastructure implementation.

In this role, you will help the Retail customers achieve their objectives through data, tech and measurement solutions that align to Americas Large Customer Sales (ALCS), Business Focus Metrics (BFMs) and the Retail sector's priority pillars.

We are the Specialty Retail Data, Measurement and Analytics team in the Large Customer Sales organization. Our team supports some of the largest retailers in the United States in achieving their business and marketing objectives by providing data-driven analyses for decision-making.

Our Large Customer Sales teams partner closely with many of the world’s biggest advertisers and agencies to develop digital solutions that build businesses and brands. We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $103,000-$148,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Understand the durable digital measurement infrastructure strategy and help customers evolve with industry and ecosystem to achieve customer business objectives.
  • Identify, cultivate, and own marketing, data science and technology team relationships within advertisers and agency partners. Develop executive business partnerships with strategic customers and internal cross-functional teams.
  • Innovate alongside clients to derive increased value from current and potential data, looking at current and future business opportunities that data transformation can unlock.
  • Work cross-functionally with Business, Product/Technical specialists, and Google partners to synthesize technical and strategic business requirements into cohesive business cases.
  • Own the business cycle to drive customer adoption and growth of Google’s solutions. Develop and manage a business pipeline for product adoption progress across the book of business.
