Senior Creative Director

Igloo Creative House serves as Magic Media’s video marketing division, focusing on tech videos, product and explainer videos, commercials, game trailers, social media ads and much more.

 
We are looking for a well-experienced creative director who will creatively-and-artistically lead our projects from ideation to final execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in high-quality animation and video productions, including hands-on experience in storyboarding, design and creative management. We are looking for someone who is passionate about the creative process and challenges and who is willing to work and mentor talented artists to create beautiful marketing videos.

What you will do: 

• Learn and analyze creative briefs, and assist in estimating projects’ needs including budget, team structure and timelines. 
• Develop creative directions according to briefs and/or client meetings, and present them in an appealing way.
• Create storyboards and provide solid understanding of the animation flow to the designers and animators.
• Brief, mentor, and artistically direct artists, providing them with clear and solid feedback that’ll move the projects forward.
• Communicate frequently and effectively with clients on the creative aspects of the projects, providing creative solutions when needed. 
• Contribute to the development and refinement of the creative processes to increase studio efficiency and quality.
• Maintain a constant awareness of projects’ status. Evaluate project scope and make recommendations to the studio leadership.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.

• At least +5 years experience in creative direction and managing artists. 
• Visionary with high attention to detail and a clear understanding of how to bring your vision to life. 
• High writing and presentation skills.
• Willingness and ability to be hands-on in creating storyboards, style-frames, and assisting in the production process when needed.
• High-level control of Adobe Suite (PS, AI, After Effects, Premiere).
• Deep understanding of different pipelines, production processes, and project management practices.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, on both a personal and team level.
• Self-starter. Approaches challenge creatively and methodically, seeing them through to the final resolution.
