We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

At PayPal, Full Stack Software Engineers are the architects of our global payment platform.

Your day-to-day:

As a Full Stack Software Engineer, you will:

  • Architect and implement large-scale Full Stack solutions.
  • Mentor and develop engineering talent.
  • Drive technical excellence and best practices.

What you need to bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 5+ years of Full Stack development experience.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and one modern frontend framework (React, Angular, Vue).
  • Experience in building large-scale applications
  • Exposure to SQL and NoSQL technologies
  • Good understanding of relational databases, including strong data architecture and SQL/PL-SQL development skills
  • Strong experience with microservices architecture.
  • Experience applying software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with GraphQL or similar API technologies.
  • Contributions to open-source projects.
