Altagram is seeking a dynamic Senior Localization Project Manager (m/f/d) to join our team at our office in Seoul, South Korea. In this pivotal role, you will oversee project management while nurturing and expanding client relationships across Asia.

You will collaborate closely with our headquarters in Berlin, Germany, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with global objectives. Additionally, you will report directly to the Team Lead in our Korea office, playing a key role in driving both regional and international success.


YOUR ROLE

  • Leading and coordinating daily business to ensure the best localization quality of video game titles.
  • Creating and controlling project budgets and ensuring purchase orders and invoices are issued on time.
  • Monitoring localization quality, devising and implementing strategies to ensure delivered quality (through QA checks, metrics, resource evaluation, etc.)
  • Financial reporting to HQ, account monitoring for client and vendor invoices.
  • Support the business development on the Asian market: Preparing and attending industry events, connecting with prospective clients while representing the company.
  • Establishing partnerships with recording studios and encouraging expansion of language portfolio through freelance sourcing.
  • Hosting kick-off and post-mortem meetings.
  • Support the recruitment of new team members.
  • Improving workflows.
Your profile
  • Excellent written and verbal Korean to English skills, another language is an advantage (Chinese, Korean or Japanese).  
  • In-depth understanding of localization and all its processes.
  • 2/3+ years of experience as a localization project manager.
  • Experience in an agency or publisher within the game or localization industry is required.
  • Experience in managing localization workflows.
  • Experience with audio projects and/or LQA testing is a big plus.
  • Very strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, innovative and creative.
  • Client-facing and negotiation skills.
  • Passion for video games.
  • Knowledge of standard industry software, file types and localization tools, e.g., MemoQ, Plunet.
  • Familiarity with the principles of internationalization and globalization
