Disney Ad Platforms is responsible for delivering global advertising technology solutions for Linear and Addressable channels across Disney’s brands and streaming services. This key leadership role will be responsible for driving and launching our ad decisioning product roadmap to continually elevate advertising alongside Disney’s renown storytelling experiences. The ideal candidate for this role brings demonstrable track record and excellence in tuning and launching algorithms for market-leading impact across multiple product domains at global household scale. Responsibilities

  • Define compelling product strategy, roadmap, prioritization, rooted in strong rationale and KPIs across Disney’s proprietary ad decisioning domain including ad selection, pacing, supply strategy, and ad personalization.

  • Hold deep compassion for our users and instinctively approach problems with a viewer-first mentality

  • Lead and mentor a team of product managers through discovery, definition, development, and launch across our proprietary ad decisioning and AI services.

  • Ensure high bar product execution through regular review of team backlogs, requirements, and prioritization, empowering teams to resolve obstacles as necessary.

  • Partner closely with senior technology, ad sales, operations, and finance leaders to ensure ad products are optimized towards long term impact.

  • Collaborate seamlessly with senior research engineering and analytical leaders to relentlessly ideate, test, and ship iterative enhancements to our suite of algorithms.

  • Accelerate incubation and relevant adoption of AI solutions across the Disney advertising products.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technology or business domains

  • 10+ years of product management or equivalent experience

  • Advanced data analysis skills and highly truth-seeking. Well versed in selection of northstar KPIs, evaluating rationale of data narratives, and able to ensure collective focus around critical drivers.

  • Ability to distill desired outcomes into yield principles that optimize ad decisioning across demand channels.

  • Unwavering bias for execution and impeccable follow-through.

  • Experience presenting and discussing in senior executive forums and/or large organizations.

  • Highly articulate with penchant for summarizing nuanced myriad into essential takeaways.

  • Ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver solutions in a fluid environment across a diverse set of technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Pedigree managing all aspects of experimentation including exploration/sequencing strategy, effective treatment & control definition, communicating results, and production rollout.

  • Experience partnering with ML engineers to recognize, hone, and incorporate AI solutions towards pragmatic impact.

  • Proven success in a high-scale, market-leading product leadership role with track record of launch excellence.

  • Prior experience in video advertising yield optimization and/or ad ranking preferred


The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, CA is $184,300 - $247,100 year, Seattle, WA is between $193,100 - $258,900 and San Francisco, CA is between $201,900 to $270,700. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate’s geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
