Description
Responsibilities:
The Reliability Technician will carry out the following technical functions in support of product reliability qualification and monitoring:
- Electrical testing and data-logging of integrated circuit devices using automated test equipment
- Loading and unloading of IC components onto burn-in boards
- Loading and unloading burn-in boards into test chambers (must be able to lift 40 lbs.)
- DOPL Loading and unloading of reliability test boards
- Bench testing and debugging of reliability test circuits
- Loading and unloading units for High Voltage Isolation test boards
- Debug the failure from High Voltage Isolation Test
- Perform Scanning Acoustic Microscopy (C-SAM) testing
- Operation of measurement equipment such as curve tracer, oscilloscope and Keithley test rack
- Use of X-Ray system and optical microscope is support of failure analysis
- Perform FA sample preparation tasks such as cross-sectioning and chemical decapsulation of IC devices.
- Other engineering support responsibilities may be assigned on an as-needed basis
Requirements:
- A Diploma or Associate Degree in Electronics or equivalent certification.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience as a technician in the semiconductor industry.
- Working experience with MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook and similar desktop computing applications.
