Are you excited by complex challenges like deploying systems with zero downtime, managing intricate migrations, or building new architectures from scratch? If you have a knack for improving cooperation processes to enhance resilience, this role is for you!
Miniclip is looking for a mid-level Backend Engineer to join our Lisbon (PT) Games Development Studio. This is a full-time, permanent position, with a hybrid work model (3 days per week in the office).
The Server Engineering team supports key services used across all games and business areas of the Miniclip Group, reaching over 70 million players daily. In this role, you'll manage business-critical systems, improve existing processes, and develop new solutions in close collaboration with other studios and teams within the Group.
This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with our Data Engineering team, contributing to our Data Management Platform (DMP), Hubble. Hubble is a centralized platform that helps businesses collect, store, and manage large data sets from various sources. It enables deeper insights into customer behavior, preferences, and interests, leading to more targeted and effective business strategies.
If you are really curious then... Hubble provides features like data integration, segmentation, audience analytics, and activation, streamlining the entire data management process. By leveraging this platform, Miniclip is able to deliver better ROI, create personalized customer experiences, and achieve its business goals efficiently.
Your Mission: In one line, your job will be to work on the server-side components that power this DMP, interconnect them, develop new features, and ensure their reliability and correctness, together with the rest of the team.
