Site Acquisition Manager, Data Center Planning and Acquisition

To support the fast growth and manage the massive content on the platform, ByteDance's infrastructure team is building hyper-scale datacenters globally that host hundreds of thousands of servers. We are looking for a regional procurement manager responsible for Data Center Delivery, including Fit-out, Cabling and service contracts to enable data center delivery to a high standard and timely manner. You will work closely with Strategy, Data Center Engineering, Operation, Capacity Planning and Global Supply Chain team to manage complex construction and service projects in North America and Europe. By partnering with cross regional and functional team members, you will be able to develop compelling procurement solutions which will support strategic projects and drive business impact. The ideal candidate should be comfortable managing complex projects and building constructive partnerships with internal and external stakeholders. Responsibilities: - Work with stakeholders to understand capacity needs and site requirements in assigned metros/regions. Conduct data center market analysis, lead site acquisition strategy and drive executive decisions accordingly. - Engage and bring qualified suppliers onboard and drive the end to end site acquisition / procurement process, including due-diligence and recommend leases for approval. - Manage existing lease portfolios and continuously drive a long term acquisition strategy for both cost efficiency and quality assurance. Experience with land & power acquisitions will be a plus. - Work with cross-functional business partners to negotiate and prepare executable contracts.
