The Solution Sales Specialist (Support Solutions) drives and closes Microsoft Unified Solutions opportunities. This role ensures customers receive comprehensive support throughout the product lifecycle, improving their health, enabling outcomes, and maximizing consumption. The specialist leverages Microsoft's expertise and access to product teams to optimize customer investments. Key responsibilities include business development (acquiring new business and growing sales), sales execution (advising customers on digital transformation and driving robust deployment), scaling & collaboration (orchestrating deal closure and aligning stakeholders), and acting as a Support Solutions expert. The role demands managing end-to-end sales and delivery, forecasting, and developing territory plans to maintain client satisfaction.

As part of our Sales transformation, one of our key areas of focus is the modernization of our sales motions to accelerate Microsoft’s growth in its cloud-first, mobile-first businesses along with the traditional businesses.

 

We are looking for an initiative-taking and passionate Solution Sales Specialist (Support Solutions) to join our wonderful and ambitious team. 

 

The focus of the Solution Sales Specialist’s role is to drive and close Microsoft Unified Solutions opportunities to ensure customers are supported throughout all stages of the product lifecycle, improving their health and enabling customer outcomes and consumption. The Solution Sales Specialist leverages Microsoft’s unique expertise, including direct access to product teams, to help customers use their Microsoft investments as productively as possible.

Qualifications

Proven experience in Services Sales for Cloud solutions or related sales/account management in this cloud services domain.

Fluent English skills

Proven experience in closing deals with a programmatic approach

New business sales experience

Proven record of working in multidisciplinary sales teams

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Business Development – proven experience in acquiring new business and growing sales.
  • Sales Execution – Acts as a thought leader across solution areas to advise customers across business functions on digital transformation, drive robust deployment and create business value for customers by identifying and facilitating removal of blockers to consumption by partnering with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Scaling & Collaboration – Leads the sales orchestration to pro-actively drive deal closure by identifying and aligning internal stakeholders as well as leveraging and expanding relationships with partners.
  • Support Solutions Expert – Leverages appropriate Support Solutions Go To Market (GTM) assets & motions to drive transformational customer conversations, communicating Microsoft Unified Solutions, Add-on and Enhanced Solutions value, aligned to customer’s priorities.
  • Sales Excellence –Manages the end-to-end sales and delivery success of the assigned territory; conducts forecasting for accounts and develops a portfolio and territory plan to drive intentional selling aligned with strategic priorities aimed at maintaining levels of client satisfaction.
