Cirrus Logic’s Mixed Signal Audio Division is looking for talented engineering interns to work in the design and characterization of high-performance data converter IC’s for professional and consumer audio markets.
Participate on a circuit design team as an Analog Design engineer focused on the following:
Power converter (Boost/Buck) design, analog-digital converter/digital analog-converter (ADC/DAC) design, mixed-signal design.
Participate in simulation and/or lab-based prototyping evaluations.
Gain exposure to tools such as Cadence for circuit design, Matlab/Simulink, Python for lab development
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of analog integrated circuit design fundamentals
- Understanding of CMOS operational amplifier design
- Discrete time and continuous time signal process skills
- Strong lab and silicon validation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
This opportunity is available for the spring semester only. It is available only to students currently enrolled in a MS or PhD program in Electrical Engineering maintaining a GPA of 3.6 or above, and who will be returning to school for at least one semester following completion of his/her internship. Candidate must be available for full-time employment during the internship.
