Extreme Networks, a leader in Enterprise Cloud Networking, is seeking an experienced Sr. Director of EMEA Field Marketing to join our Growth Marketing Team. You will play a critical role in the growth of our business, defining and delivering on a marketing strategy that supports the attainment of bookings across EMEA.  This role reports into the SVP of Growth Marketing and is pivotal to implement our charter of creating a repeatable and scalable growth marketing engine that drives top of funnel growth. This role will work across multiple go to market channels, supporting our direct business as well as working in conjunction with our distribution and reseller partners to further develop sales territories.  If you are a strategic problem solver who thrives on driving more results out of a dollar of investment, we invite you to be part of our team. 

Responsibilities:
You'll be a critical member of our performance marketing team, working cross-functionally to build out successful events and programs that drive pipeline and accelerate funnel.

You'll work closely with sales and channel leadership to understand the needs of each region and of our target customers, developing creative strategies to engage them at a range of campaigns, events, and experiences.

Interlock with regional field sales leaders to ensure ongoing alignment of priorities, accommodate changing market conditions and emerging opportunities; attend regular sales deal reviews, pipeline reviews and regional quarterly business reviews.

Evaluate, select, and manage vendors that contribute to local field marketing programs – e.g. promotion agencies, demand marketing agencies, teleservices agencies, designers, copywriters and translation agencies, and channel marketing concierge agencies.

Manage and develop a team of field marketing managers with the potential to grow the team over time.

Budget management: plan, allocate, and oversee the field marketing budget to ensure maximum return on investment, tracking spend against the projected pipeline and adjusting strategies as needed.

Create a culture of change management that uses data driven decisions.  Utilize historical data and career benchmarks to make projections and set goals for your strategy

Work in alignment with our channel partners, using market development funds, to create and execute route to market tactics that create top of funnel opportunities and advance existing opportunities.

Experience and Skills Required

    • 12+ years of field marketing or equivalent marketing experience in B2B technology
    • Experience running events and communicating ROI
    • A history of organizing and leading cross-functional project teams toward a common goal
    • Experience managing teams and helping direct reports develop in their careers
    • Great project management skills
    • A well-rounded background with a variety of event types, including large-scale industry gatherings and exclusive, executive gatherings.
    • Experience building and interpreting reports to make data-driven decisions driving ROI
    • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualification in marketing or business
    • MBA in marketing or related area strongly preferred
