The Sr. Trade Marketing Manager will lead the Trade Marketing team and will own strategy, development, design, and execution of global marketing functions in B2B channels for all Hasbro & Wizards brands. The role involves developing and implementing trade marketing programs and promotions, driving revenue and play growth. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in ambiguity and find ways to forge a path where no one has forged one before. Key responsibilities include leading a team, developing trade marketing strategies, building and implementing programs, collaborating with product and brand teams, communicating trade plans with key partners, and understanding industry trends. The role requires a strong understanding of data and the ability to define critical metrics and track program performance.

We are seeking a Sr. Trade Marketing Manager to join the Wizards Play Network team. This position will lead the Trade Marketing team, and will own strategy, development, design, and execution of our global marketing functions in our B2B channels for all Hasbro & Wizards brands. As leader of this team, you will work with Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and Hasbro Gaming to develop and implement trade marketing programs and promotions that drive revenue and play growth. This leader should be comfortable working in ambiguity and find ways to forge a path where no one has forged one before.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Trade Marketing Managers and Specialists that bring magical in-store experiences to life for our players and retailers.
  • Be passionate about people development, managing opportunities for growth, and celebrating team strengths.


Develop Trade Marketing Strategy:

  • Develop a comprehensive trade marketing vision, and define strategies that align with the overall business objectives of WPN- including promotions and incentives, in-store merchandising, trade shows, and other marketing initiatives that support our retailers in driving sales and play for all our brands.
  • Build and implement trade marketing programs that promote new product launches and in-store event participation, drive retailer engagement, and support other key initiatives for the Wizards Play Network.
  • Collaborate with the product and brand teams to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing messages both in-store and digitally.
  • Communicate trade plans with key partners and customers to gain consensus and drive adoption.
  • Be curious- Understand industry trends and identify tools and resources that unlock new capabilities, create simplicity, or enable scale for the business.
     

Additional Role Responsibilities:

  • Own the trade budget and manage our expenses effectively to meet program targets.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with leaders across Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro to ensure alignment across departments.
  • Be comfortable working with data, defining critical metrics, and uncovering new ways to track program or initiative performance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in trade marketing, B2B marketing, or a related field. Merchandising experience is preferred!
  • 2 years of people leadership experience at minimum.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to create structure around ambiguity
  • Experience working on global teams with numerous stakeholders, and implementing marketing initiatives in physical retail spaces.


Compensation Range (USD):

Starting: $123,975

Ending: $177,600
