We’re looking for a creative and experienced individual to head up our marketing, public relations & community initiatives. We’re a small team, so you’ll need to be comfortable wearing and constantly switching between a variety of hats to accomplish our objectives. We’re also a new company, building a new brand, creating a new IP, in a new work culture - so there’s a lot yet to be figured out and a lot of opportunities to be mined. Yet our budget may not be the AAA standard, so a DIY-mindset, out-of-the-box thinking and creative problem solving skills are a must to hit our targets.
You’ll also be responsible for partnering with publishing and working closely with the development team to create strategies that are executable and content that’s exciting for a campaign that generates attention and hype for this fun, innovative project.
We require a minimum of 8 years of Marketing/PR experience and/or at least 3 shipped game titles in the capacity of Marketing/PR for this role.
Responsibilities:
Required Experience and Skills:
Salary Range: $185,000-$270,000 per year
If you are interested in this role but feel as though you don’t have the right experience for it, we’d like to encourage your application. When compared to individuals of similar backgrounds and skill levels, members of historically marginalized groups are statistically far less likely to apply for a position unless they feel like they meet all of its listed qualifications. As part of our mission to cultivate a diverse workplace, we encourage you to apply for the position that excites you, even if your resume doesn’t perfectly match what we’re looking for.
Benefits and Perks:
Application Review Process:
Applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis, beginning August 2, 2024. This position will remain open until filled. We are looking to fill the role immediately. Please note that because we expect to receive a large volume of applications, we will only be in touch if we would like to move you forward to the next round. You will receive an auto-reply confirming we have received your application. Thank you for your understanding.
Interviewing:
Heads up - as part of the interview process, we may ask you to take a test to show us your skills and knowledge.
Thank you for your interest!
Potential and fit are just as (if not more) important than skills alone. Of course your talent & experience are essential for us to ship an amazing game, but our culture is more than just a group of wildly talented people. We want to meet you for who you are, understand what you’re working towards, and see if we can achieve great things together.
The world would be a dull place if everyone and everything were exactly the same. Different backgrounds, histories, cultures and perspectives can only help us tell richer and more relevant stories. We believe in the power of a diverse team - all walks of life are welcome here.
This is as much a fit for you as it is for us. It’s important that you feel like you belong here.
Check us out, and join our team!
