Job Description

The Strategic Partnerships Manager will drive partnerships with app developers across Southeast Asia (SEA), focusing on Vietnam. You'll enable partners to grow their business using Google's solutions, primarily AdMob, targeting mobile app developers. Responsibilities include cultivating and expanding business partnerships, developing new business pipelines, collaborating with internal teams, conducting data-driven analyses, providing business generation and platform solutions, and identifying new opportunities to help partners achieve their business objectives. The role requires fluent English and Vietnamese communication for client relationship management and focuses on verticals like Gaming and Utility Apps.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years in digital advertising/sales/development/marketing
  • App developer/publisher/advertiser/agency experience
  • Fluent English and Vietnamese
  • Data analysis and business solution skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with AdMob, Google Ad Manager, programmatic advertising
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Firebase
  • C-level executive relationship building
  • Mobile Gaming, Lifestyle, Utility App experience
  • Sales pipeline management

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of industry experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing.
  • Experience working with App Developers, Publishers, Advertisers, Agencies or clients.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Vietnamese fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with online advertising or ad business generation solutions (e.g., Google Ad Manager, AdMob) and knowledge of programmatic advertising space.
  • Experience with investigative tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Firebase) and automated tools (e.g., spreadsheets, pivot tables, software, databases, etc.).
  • Experience building relationships with C-level executives.
  • Experience managing sales pipelines and having vertical in Mobile Gaming, Lifestyle and Utility Apps.
  • Ability to structure, analyze and solve business issues, be detail-oriented and to deliver business goals.

As a Strategic Partner Manager, you will drive partnerships with app developers across South East Asia (SEAS) with a focus on Vietnam. You will enable these partners to significantly grow the business using our industry-leading business solutions with AdMob at the core. You will focus on mobile app developers in the fluid environment of Vietnam.

The Global Partnerships organization is responsible for exploring new opportunities with Google's partners. Google’s Global Partnerships team works with a wide range of partners to bring the best of Google to power their business. The Global Partnerships team supports Google’s own Product teams with essential partnerships to help Google’s user experiences in advertising, Search, Assistant, Maps, Travel, Shopping, Payments and more. Teams create product-enabling partnerships, go-to-market strategies and incubate business growth for a variety of products.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and expand business partnerships with app developers, identifying and maximizing business opportunities within the Vietnamese community.
  • Develop new business pipeline through direct engagement and strategies, focusing on verticals like Gaming and Utility Apps.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to resolve partner issues and ensure handovers with Account Management.
  • Conduct data-driven analyses to identify business and product opportunities, contributing to Google's platform and business growth.
  • Provide business generation and platform solutions. Identify new opportunities to help partners achieve their business objectives.
