Responsibilities
Partner closely with mid-market advertisers to develop solutions that build clients’ businesses and brands by driving strategy and client service expectations within different verticals/industries across North America and globally, and clearly articulate how TikTok can best serve their addressable market by using knowledge and experience in media, entertainment, and commerce.
Leverage addressable market data, historical category performance, and industry insights to develop long-range strategies and annual business plan.
Partner with cross-functional and cross-border leadership in product, measurement, creative, policy, and sales operations to develop, identify, and implement effective and scalable processes for our growing sales organization.
Develop and initiate organizational strategies to maximize business outcomes for the team while aggregating feedback and challenges that face the overarching vertical, prioritize accordingly and develop solutions.
Focus on long-range revenue planning, project/relationship management, team building, measurement/forecasting, and tell a strong story that shows TikTok's unique and proven ability to drive client business transformation.
Manage a team of Head of Industry leaders, Brand Partnerships, and Client Solutions teams and work closely with our cross-functional partners to find creative, product, and measurement solutions for the vertical/industry.
Hire, coach, and develop multi-level management team equipped to design books of business, acquire clients at scale, be strategic consultants to our partners, and accurately forecast and manage revenue to aggressive quotas.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of TikTok’s features and ad units and consult clients on TikTok product offerings and demonstrate expertise of creative programs, product capabilities, measurement, commerce, attribution, and KPIs.
Qualifications
Qualifications
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Advertising, Marketing, Commerce, Business Administration, Management, Economics, Finance, Business Analytics, or a related field, and 8 years of related work experience in marketing or advertising in social media industry. Employer will accept a 3 or 4-year Bachelor’s degree.
Of the required experience, must have 6 years of experience in each of the following:
Designing, building, and deploying in-house customer relationship management (CRM) and sales enablement tools for social media sales teams to support revenue forecasting, account set up, advertising performance diagnostics, activity reporting, and/or automated presentation creation;
Processing large quantities of external market and internal data to: (1) model trends and create go-to-market strategies and (2) define resource allocation and organizational structure across various industries;
Applying data privacy government regulation and ecosystem technical constraints to social media content/applications to ensure corporate reputation, user experience, compliance, and commercial goals are achieved;
Outsourcing operations, including designing, building, and deploying social media advertising sales programs run by 3rd-party outsourced vendors across international markets; and
Scoping, negotiating, building, and deploying new monetization ad products via ecosystem partnerships across international markets, including e-commerce marketplaces, logistics and fulfilment providers, payment providers, sports leagues, media publishers, or measurement providers.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENT: Domestic travel up to 25% required.
