What you will move with us:

• you will edit videos and livestreams for WELT and BUSINESS INSIDER and our channels on YouTube and Facebook
• you are stylistically confident with headlines for Welt.de and understand how to play with attention on YouTube through clever titles and thumbnails
• you are responsible for image design and selection of photos and create videos through self-editing
• you continuously review and process incoming feeds in image, graphics, audio, and video
• you create LIVE signals and integrate them into digital platforms
• you prepare reports, broadcasts, and documentaries for media libraries and YouTube
• you curate our media library and the WELT SmartTV app

What you bring:

• you master video editing with all common editing systems – from CapCut to Premiere Pro
• you have experience in more complex photo editing, whether in Photoshop or Canva
• you have profound journalistic know-how and an interest in news, politics, business, and also sports, as well as a good sense for social media
• you use AI specifically in journalism and image design and know its applications
• you have experience with CMS systems for websites and platforms like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram
• Knowledge of Motion Design and handling After Effects is desirable
• you are willing to work early, late, and weekend shifts
