The Account Executive, DASP, will market advertising spaces across Disney Media Sales & Partnerships' portfolio (Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Lucasfilm, Star, ESPN, National Geographic) within the Mexican market. Responsibilities include managing portfolio performance (forecasting, sales, competition analysis), developing sales forecasts, prospecting new clients, identifying opportunities with existing clients, collaborating with internal departments, implementing multi-pillar projects, utilizing metrics (CPRs, CPMs), building client relationships, and adhering to company policies. The ideal candidate will possess strong commercial experience in media sales, particularly within entertainment, sports, and family content, and have a proven track record of closing deals.
Must have:

  • Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Word
  • Strong communication & collaboration skills
Good to have:
  • Experience with digital platforms and promotional activations

How you will contribute to our magical experience?:

With access to an enviable list, the Disney Media Sales & Partnerships portfolio covers all the brands within the Media Networks segment of The Walt Disney Company and related intellectual properties (IPs). From beloved family brands such as Disney, Pixar, Marvel, and Lucasfilm, to general entertainment channels like Star, the sports brand ESPN, and the factual channel National Geographic.

The main responsibility of the Sales Executive is to market advertising spaces on current and future platforms to agencies and advertisers within the Mexican market. This individual will be tasked with maximizing revenue from their portfolio, ensuring that client and agency negotiations extend to multi-pillar options through the cultivation and growth of strong, long-term relationships.

The Account Executive will be responsible for:

  • Managing the performance of their portfolio: forecasting, sales (historical and future), competition, and market behavior by category.
  • Developing forecasts for their portfolio (with a 5% +/- variation throughout the year).
  • Monitoring portfolio consumption against goals.
  • Prospecting new clients.
  • Identifying opportunities with current clients.
  • Collaborating with other departments, such as programming, marketing, finance, and operations, to help the team close and implement sales.
  • Mastery of the properties and content within the commercial portfolio.
  • Implementing at least 3 multi-pillar projects per year.
  • Understanding, analyzing, and utilizing metrics (e.g., CPRs, CPMs) for purchase decision-making.
  • Strengthening business relationships by developing personal connections with clients.
  • Adhering to company policies (administrative, legal, etc.).

What we need from you to be part of this story:

  • 2+ years in commercial activity / media sales.
  • Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Business Innovation, or a related field.
  • Experience in commercializing entertainment, sports, and family content.
  • Proven track record in closing commercial negotiations.
  • Ability to create comprehensive proposals that include traditional media, digital platforms, and promotional activations.
  • Understanding of sales budgets and a proven ability to forecast sales from a financial perspective.
  • Understanding of content policies and internal approval processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Intermediate proficiency in English.
  • Full capabilities in administration and control, with strong verbal and communication skills, teamwork orientation, excellent organizational abilities, multitasking skills, versatility, a positive attitude, and a proactive, change-driven mindset.
