Job Description

This Account Manager role focuses on large retail home customers in the German market. Responsibilities include growing cross-channel advertising business with data-driven recommendations aligning with client objectives; partnering with team members to drive long-term growth; prioritizing excellent customer experiences; collaborating with clients and agencies to expand relationships and optimize advertising; and analyzing data and consumer insights to create strategic plans for growth. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills (fluent German), analytical abilities, and experience in advertising, sales, or marketing. Experience with home or garden retailers is preferred. The role involves working closely with clients to set advertising strategies that reach large user bases.
Must have:

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in German fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience working with Home or Garden retailers.
  • Excellent investigative and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities

  • Grow advertising cross-channel business through clear, data-driven POVs and recommendations that align with Customer Business Objectives.
  • Partner with fellow account team members to drive business opportunities that build long term growth.
  • Work towards goals while prioritizing and delivering an excellent experience to Google's customers.
  • Collaborate and consult with customers and their agencies with the goal of extending relationships, growing the customer and optimizing their advertising.
  • Analyze data trends and consumer insights to develop solid strategic plans and prepare compelling narratives to drive growth.
