This Account Manager role focuses on large retail clients, requiring expertise in online media, advertising sales, and client relationship management. Responsibilities include building client relationships, understanding business challenges, achieving growth goals through Google advertising solutions, developing data-driven recommendations, and identifying opportunities to increase advertiser performance. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical and communication skills, a proven track record in advertising sales, and experience with Google's advertising products. The role involves collaborating closely with clients to develop and implement effective digital advertising strategies, ensuring their marketing objectives are met and exceeded.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Client relationship management
  • Data analysis and presentation skills
  • Achieving business growth goals
  • Google advertising product knowledge
Good to have:
  • Experience with spreadsheets/analysis

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience with spreadsheets/analysis and putting together presentations.
  • Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to think and analyze the needs of clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management and investigative skills.
  • Proven track record in advertising sales and media account management.

We enjoy a bird’s eye view on the massive transformation occurring as advertising shifts to mobile and online platforms. We're uniquely situated to help shape how companies grow their businesses in the digital age. We advise clients on Google's broad range of products across search, video and mobile to help them connect instantly and seamlessly with their audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage relationships with clients, and develop an understanding of the business challenges, marketing objectives, and success metrics.
  • Plan for, and achieve, business growth goals, through the presentation of Google advertising products/solutions that will help clients to meet their marketing objectives.
  • Develop forward thinking, data-driven analyses and consultative recommendations that align with customer goals, and quantify high-impact opportunities with clear recommendations to present to customers.
  • Build knowledge of how Google Advertising products work and can be used to help meet a wide range of marketing objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to increase advertiser performance and investment in Google solutions.
