Job Description

This Account Strategist role at Google Customer Solutions focuses on driving growth for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) using Google Ads. Responsibilities include delivering against quarterly business goals, establishing client relationships, conducting consultations and pitches, owning a portfolio of SMB clients, understanding their growth drivers, managing risks, and creating quarterly plans. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a strong understanding of online advertising, and the ability to build compelling narratives to engage clients. Fluency in English and Hebrew is crucial for managing client relationships in the specified region. The role requires consistent quota achievement, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to influence internal and external stakeholders.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 years of experience in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent in English and Hebrew
  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly goals
  • Own a portfolio of SMB clients
  • Drive customer growth and achieve objectives
Good to have:
  • Familiarity with Google Ads
  • Google Digital Workshop certification
  • Experience in Israeli advertising sales
  • Strong storytelling and client engagement skills
  • Ability to influence stakeholders

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Hebrew fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Google Ads and online advertising, Google Digital Workshop certification or equivalent experience.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media sales context in Israel, and consistently achieve quotas to drive growth.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to build compelling narratives and utilize storytelling as a client engagement strategy.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally to deliver impact.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver against ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular phone/VC consultations and business pitches with clients to advise them on how to get the best return on their Google Ads investment.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer sales experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
