Job Description

The Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions (Engage) will work with businesses of all sizes to develop and execute Google Ads strategies. Responsibilities include delivering ambitious quarterly growth goals, building client relationships, conducting consultations and pitches, owning a portfolio of small businesses, understanding growth drivers and managing risks. The role requires deep knowledge of online media, excellent communication skills, analytical abilities, and the ability to build strong client relationships. The successful candidate will drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experiences and achieving customer business and marketing objectives. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Dublin, Ireland.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Google Ads and online advertising knowledge
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Achieve growth goals consistently
Good to have:
  • Google Digital Workshop Certification

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Certification in Google Digital Workshop.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and online advertising.
  • Ability to build narratives and utilize storytelling for client engagement.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders internally and externally.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects at a time while paying attention to detail.
  • Ability to own a portfolio in an advertising or media business context in the United Kingdom, and consistently overachieve goals to deliver growth.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver ambitious quarterly business and product growth goals.
  • Establish relationships via phone calls or e-mail marketing and conduct regular phone consultations and business pitches with clients to advise them on how to get the best return on their Google Ads investment.
  • Own a portfolio of small businesses by thoroughly understanding growth drivers identifying opportunities for growth, managing risks and building quarterly plans for achievement.
  • Drive customer growth by delivering outstanding customer business experience and achieving customer business and marketing objectives.
