As an Area Sales Manager - Assistant Manager at Paytm, you'll be responsible for driving sales of EDC machines to merchants across multiple locations. Key responsibilities include building and managing a sales team, achieving sales targets, resolving merchant queries, engaging the merchant base, hiring and training team members, setting team goals, overseeing daily operations, monitoring performance, providing coaching, addressing team conflicts, recognizing achievements, and fostering a creative work environment. You will leverage your network to identify and acquire new clients, and excel in cold calling, pre-sales, and lead generation. The role requires strong communication, negotiation, and team leadership skills.
