As an Account-Based Marketing Growth Manager at Thumbtack, you'll develop and execute ABM strategies to target high-value accounts and drive revenue growth. This involves designing personalized multi-channel campaigns, collaborating with Sales and Product Marketing, using data to optimize campaigns, and reporting on performance. You'll lead experiments, manage ABM tools (Salesforce, Pardot, Looker), and ensure alignment with company goals. The role requires strategic thinking, data fluency, and operational excellence within a fast-paced, virtual-first environment. You'll be responsible for enhancing engagement with professionals on the platform, ultimately contributing to measurable revenue increases for Thumbtack.
Must have:
  • 6+ years B2B marketing experience with ABM focus
  • Proven track record of successful ABM campaigns
  • Strong analytical & strategic skills, data fluency
  • Cross-functional collaboration (Sales, Product, Ops)
  • Proficiency in marketing technology platforms (Salesforce, Pardot, etc.)
Good to have:
  • Home services or tech industry experience
  • Familiarity with StoryBrand framework
  • MBA or related certifications

About the B2B Marketing Team
 
The B2B Marketing team at Thumbtack is at the forefront of driving growth by engaging and empowering our professional partners. We develop and execute innovative marketing strategies that enable pros to succeed, fostering deeper relationships and expanding Thumbtack’s presence in the home services industry. Through collaboration with Sales, Product, and Operations, we ensure that our pros have the tools, insights, and support they need to thrive.

About the Role

As an Account-Based Marketing Growth Manager at Thumbtack, you’ll be responsible for designing and executing strategic account-based marketing (ABM) campaigns to target high-value accounts, enhance engagement, and drive measurable revenue growth. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will optimize account prioritization, leverage data-driven insights, and innovate campaign strategies to expand Thumbtack’s presence in the B2B market. This role requires a mix of strategic thinking, data fluency, and operational excellence.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute end-to-end account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to target key accounts and drive revenue growth.
  • Design personalized, multi-channel campaigns leveraging email, direct mail, social media, and in-app experiences to engage pros effectively.
  • Partner closely with Sales and Product Marketing teams to align ABM strategies with company goals and create tailored sales playbooks and marketing collateral.
  • Use data and insights to identify high-value opportunities, prioritize accounts, and refine campaigns for maximum impact.
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, providing actionable insights to optimize strategies and achieve measurable outcomes.
  • Lead experiments to test new acquisition strategies and scale successful initiatives across key markets.
  • Manage ABM tools and platforms, ensuring seamless integration with Salesforce, Pardot, Looker, and other Martech systems.

  • 6+ years of experience in B2B marketing with a strong focus on account-based marketing or customer engagement.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing ABM campaigns that deliver measurable business results.
  • Strong strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to optimize marketing programs.
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Operations to align efforts and drive results.
  • Proficiency in marketing technology platforms, including ABM tools, marketing automation systems, and CRMs like Salesforce.

Bonus points if you have

  • Experience in the home services or tech industries.
  • Familiarity with Donald Miller’s StoryBrand framework for crafting clear, customer-centric messaging.
  • An MBA or related certifications in ABM, demand generation, or digital marketing.
  • Experience working in a virtual-first, remote environment.
