Job Description

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Glean, you will be responsible for generating new business leads, collaborating with other BDRs and Account Executives, and driving net new business meetings. This involves creating and executing targeted campaigns using email, social media, and other prospecting technologies. You will also research and build new and existing accounts, perform data cleanup and maintenance, and utilize sales development technologies. The role requires excellent communication skills, proficiency in prospecting tools (LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, LeadIQ etc.), and a proven track record of success in a performance-driven environment. The position requires working PST hours (5:30 PM - 2:30 AM IST).
Must have:
  • 3+ years BDR experience (SaaS preferred)
  • NA market experience
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Proficiency in prospecting tools
  • Cold calling, emailing, LinkedIn outreach
  • Data cleaning & maintenance

What you will do and achieve:

  • Generate new business leads to fuel the sales pipeline and collaborate with other BDRs and AEs
  • Drive net new business meetings by creating and executing targeted campaigns leveraging email, social media, and other emerging prospecting technologies  
  • Help create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e.: account research, adding contacts, emails)
  • Data clean-up and maintenance (list building, list enrichment, process optimization for Sales Dev tech stack)

Minimum REQUIRED Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as BDR preferably in a SaaS company
  • NA market experience preferred.  
    Work Timing : 5.30 pm IST to 2.30  am IST (PST Timings)
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills
  • Experience working with prospecting tools like Linkedin Sales Navigator, Zoominfo, LeadIQ etc 
  • Proficient in cold calling, emailing and LinkedIn outreach campaigns
  • Highly motivated, driven and self-starting individual with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, team environment
  • Ability to understand business requirements and organizational structure
  • Excellent time management/organizational skills
  • Track record of success in a performance and metrics driven role
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
  • Basic knowledge of workplace SaaS software a plus
