The Buyer 2 position in Toluca, Mexico focuses on powertrain sourcing and cost reduction. Responsibilities include supplier management, sourcing activities, supplier development, commodity strategy, CR activities (negotiation, Gemba Activity & Monozukuri), SCC & NON SCC management, and inflation claims management. The role requires strong negotiation, organizational, and prioritization skills. The successful candidate will be involved in budget analysis, quote analysis, quote formation, benchmarking, cost forecasting, and negotiation, aiming to meet and exceed performance objectives. A strong understanding of commercial and legal regulations within the automotive industry and the assigned commodity is essential. Annual spend averages $401M USD.
