Job Summary:

About the Role & Team

The DVC Member Experiences Communication & Integration Manager is responsible for developing communication strategies and implementing operational procedures for new products, processes, and policies. This position leads a Communications Team responsible for creating content and sharing updates as defined by project strategies, as well as supporting a fast-paced contact center with day-to-day messaging. The Communication & Integration Manager is also expected to effectively partner with and influence other departments within Disney Vacation Club, Disney Parks and Resorts worldwide, and external exchange partners. Additionally, the manager monitors and evaluates current procedures to find efficiencies that will benefit the organization.

If selected for this role, you will report to the DVC Member Services Operations Manager.

This is a Full-Time position and sits in Celebration, FL.

What You Will Do

  • Hire, coach, motivate and develop a team of Communications Specialists and Associates.

  • Provide creative direction and reviews for visual and written communication for Member Experiences.

  • Develop and implement internal communications to inform, educate and provide Member Experiences Cast Members with critical and time sensitive information.

  • Participate in projects to lead Member Experience communication planning and strategy that includes operational procedure updates.

  • Develop Member Experiences integrated Cast communications related to policies, procedures, or products to continuously improve the Cast knowledge levels and achieve efficiencies within our department.

  • Build niche presentations, speeches, presentation materials and audiovisuals for Town Halls, Team Meetings, and other forums in support of the Member Experiences leadership team.

  • Review and edit drafts of Member-facing communications including content on DisneyVacationClub.com and Member Marketing collateral pieces for accuracy of information and departmental impact.

  • Serve as operational liaison between resort operations personnel and Member Experiences to communicate and update information.

  • Participate in parks and resorts worldwide Special Event Planning, Communication updates, and product launches to create comprehensive communication and training.

  • Communicate upcoming operational impacts in a timely manner that may influence labor forecasting.

  • Provide consultant services to leadership related to communication methods and delivery vehicles for effective communication to Member Experiences.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in communications and or marketing.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to all levels.

  • Ability to prioritize and lead multiple tasks simultaneously.

  • Strong organizational and project management skills.

  • Ability to handle multiple projects with challenging deadlines.

  • Ability to handle confidential information.

  • Detail orientation and accuracy with information.

  • Strong coaching and leadership skills including the ability to give effective feedback and share creative and new ideas.

  • Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.

  • Proven knowledge of contact center operations.

  • Strong partnering and influencing skills.

  • Materials Required for Consideration: An exemplary portfolio that includes internal communication samples and design work. (Please submit with the application and provide any necessary passwords).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Disney Vacation Club business and systems.

  • Knowledge of policies and procedures for Disney Parks and Resorts.

  • Knowledge of basic technologies such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop and Illustrator, and some knowledge of InDesign).

Education

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, or equivalent experience.
