Job Description

The Content Strategist, specializing in Multimodal Content and AI, will architect, oversee production, and continuously optimize self-help experiences for Google Ads customers. This role involves shaping user interaction with support content across various modalities (video, interactive graphics, audio, voice, AI-driven solutions). Responsibilities include planning requirements with internal customers, managing complex project schedules, collaborating with cross-functional teams, exploring AI for content personalization, and guiding extended delivery teams. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in content production/management, service operations, or program management and experience managing rich media content production pipelines. They will be responsible for driving projects to completion on deadline with limited guidance and attention to detail. The role focuses on delivering impactful multimodal content for Google Ads launches and ongoing support needs, ensuring Google delivers amazing and effective content experiences.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in content production/management
  • Experience managing rich media content pipelines
  • Ability to manage multiple complex assignments
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Good to have:
  • Master's degree or MBA
  • Experience with CMS and AI-assisted content creation
  • Experience with global teams and partners
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and related products

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in content production/management, service operations, or program management, or similar.
  • Experience in managing rich media content production pipelines.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience with content management systems and AI assisted content creation.
  • Experience working with global teams and partners.
  • Knowledge of Google Ads and related ads products.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex assignments simultaneously and working with geographically dispersed, cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to drive projects to completion on deadline with limited guidance, with attention to detail.

As a Content Strategist specializing in Multimodal Content and AI, you will architect, oversee the production and continuously optimize self-help experiences. You will shape how users interact with support content across a diverse spectrum of modalities, including video, interactive graphics, audio, voice interfaces, and potentially AI-driven real-time streaming solutions. You will leverage creativity and strategic insight to pioneer innovative content formats and delivery mechanisms, including the integration of Artificial Intelligence to personalize and enhance the user journey, ensuring Google delivers amazing and effective content experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Plan requirements with internal customers and drive the strategic creation and integration of diverse multimodal content assets (e.g., video, interactive elements, audio, AI generated content, voice prompts, etc.) throughout the entire project lifecycle.
  • Manage complex project schedules, proactively identify risks and opportunities especially around new technologies, and clearly communicate goals, timelines, and AI/multimodal strategies to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with content strategists, content project leads, global product leads, product managers, engineering, and operations teams to deliver impactful multimodal content for Google Ads launches and ongoing support needs.
  • Explore and pilot the use of AI for content personalization, dynamic adaptation, performance analysis, and optimizing voice-based help interaction.
  • Engage and guide extended delivery teams, including vendors and global partners, overseeing specific production workflows (e.g., video editing, audio mixing) to maintain quality standards and meet deadlines.
