ABOUT THE ROLE

We seek a dynamic and results-oriented Country Manager to oversee our relationships with our existing Finnish customers, and our future operations in Finland when the market becomes regulated.

This role entails overall P&L responsibility, developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing strategy, and ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including the Finnish Lotteries Act. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the Finnish market and a proven track record in managing marketing and operational teams.

As this market is set to be regulated in the coming years, you will lead the alignment, planning, and development of a comprehensive go-to-market strategy in collaboration with a dedicated team, Legal and Compliance, and with approval from the Director of Nordics.

YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

P&L Management: Take full accountability for the profitability and financial performance of the Finnish market, ensuring results align with set budgets and targets.

Collaboration with Leadership: Align and plan strategies with the Director of Nordics to ensure cohesive execution of regional initiatives and market objectives.

Marketing Strategy Development: Create and implement a robust marketing strategy encompassing all available channels while adhering to local regulations.

Campaign Planning: Collaborate within the Group’s campaign planning process by contributing ideas, crafting marketing briefs, and reviewing campaign deliverables to ensure they meet objectives.

Operational Collaboration: Work closely with operational teams to support specific market needs, ensuring seamless execution of strategies.

Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations and communications adhere to the latest Finnish regulations, mitigating any potential risks.

Media Management: Oversee planning, buying, and negotiating all media placements, utilizing direct relationships and/or media agencies.

Product Liaison: Collaborate with Product Owners (Directors/Heads of Casino/Bingo, Live Casino, and Sports) to leverage their expertise for maximum impact.

Performance Analysis: Partner with the Data & Analytics team to track and analyze marketing activities, ensuring alignment with budgets and targets. Provide clear reporting and actionable plans for underperforming areas.

Market Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the Finnish market, including competitive landscape and regulatory changes.

Team Structure Advisory: Advise operational teams on optimal team structures for efficiency, and collaborate with Function Heads and Directors to recruit and retain top talent.

OUR SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING:
