The Creative Director for Warzone will lead the creative vision for Call of Duty: Warzone, driving innovation and delivering unforgettable gameplay experiences. Responsibilities include defining the creative vision, leading multi-disciplinary teams, owning creative direction from concept to live operations, translating ideas into clear plans, collaborating with various partners, driving continuous evolution through live service updates, and championing a culture of collaboration. This role requires a visionary leader to shape the next era of Warzone and create memorable player experiences for millions globally.
Must have:
  • 10+ years of game development experience with a focus on AAA and FPS titles.
  • 5+ years in leadership roles, guiding cross-functional teams from concept to ship.
  • Deep expertise in game design and working fluency in art, engineering, narrative, or live ops.
  • Skilled at navigating ambiguity and transforming ideas into clear deliverables.
  • A clear, compelling communicator who can inspire teams and connect with audiences.
  • Passionate about innovation, inclusive design, and building memorable experiences.
  • Experienced in live service ecosystems, adapting to player behavior and feedback.
Good to have:
  • In-depth knowledge of the Call of Duty franchise, gameplay, and community culture.
  • Experience with free-to-play (F2P) and games-as-a-service (GaaS) models.
  • A portfolio of projects that showcase bold ideas, innovative systems, or groundbreaking experiences.

Join us in shaping the next era of Call of Duty: Warzone, one of the most iconic titles in gaming. We are seeking a Creative Director to lead the creative vision for Warzone, driving innovation and delivering unforgettable gameplay experiences for millions of players around the globe.

In this franchise-level role, you will collaborate across multiple studios to evolve Warzone as the pinnacle of battle royale experiences. From foundational gameplay systems to player immersion and storytelling, you'll be at the helm of a genre-defining title.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and articulate a bold, inspiring creative vision for Call of Duty: Warzone
  • Lead multi-disciplinary teams across global studios to align goals and deliver exceptional player experiences
  • Own creative direction from early concept to live operations, balancing innovation with franchise authenticity
  • Translate ideas into clear, actionable plans—pitch decks, design documents, and playable builds
  • Collaborate with design, narrative, art, engineering, and production partners to push boundaries and solve complex problems
  • Drive continuous evolution of Warzone through live service updates that reflect player feedback and data insights
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, inclusion, and player-first thinking

PLAYER PROFILE

  • A creative leader with 10+ years of experience in game development, with a strong focus on AAA and FPS titles
  • 5+ years in leadership roles, successfully guiding cross-functional teams from concept to ship
  • A systems thinker with deep expertise in game design, plus working fluency in art, engineering, narrative, or live ops
  • Skilled at navigating ambiguity and transforming big ideas into clear, impactful deliverables
