Job Description

Smilegate Entertainment is seeking an experienced VFX Artist for its popular Crossfire 2 game. The role involves creating and managing visual effects for weapons and environments within a team-based first-person shooter. Responsibilities include developing VFX from prototype to live service, utilizing Unreal Engine 4/5 to create realistic and immersive shooting effects, collaborating with other teams, and ensuring effects enhance gameplay without hindering it. The ideal candidate possesses 5+ years of experience in game VFX, a strong understanding of particle systems and shaders, and a keen eye for detail. Experience with military weaponry visual effects is highly beneficial.

Must have:

5+ years VFX experience
Unreal Engine 4/5 expertise
Particle system & shader proficiency
Military weapon VFX experience
Excellent collaboration skills

Good to have:

Shooter genre core fan
Shooter game development experience
Open to innovative approaches

자격요건

- 게임 VFX 실무 경력 5년 이상 - 프로토타입부터 라이브서비스까지의 개발 단계 경험 - Unreal Engine 4/5를 사용한 상용화 게임 제작 경험

필요역량

- 파티클 시스템과 셰이더를 활용해 실감나는 총격전 비주얼 효과를 제작할 수 있는 능력 - 밀리터리 총기의 시각적 효과를 효율적으로 표현할 수 있는 능력 - 애니메이션 및 사운드 연출과 자연스럽게 연결되는 이펙트 연출 타이밍 감각 - 게임플레이 경험을 방해하지 않으면서도 몰임감을 높일 수 있는 이펙트 연출 노하우 - 캐릭터의 상태 이상, 가젯의 효과를 직관적인 이펙트로 표현할 수 있는 능력 - 유관 업무자와의 원활하고 적극적인 의사소통 능력 - 긍정적인 시너지를 낼 수 있는 협업 마인드

우대사항

- 슈터 장르의 코어팬 - 슈터 장르 제작 경험 - 차별화 시도에 대한 오픈 마인드
