Job Description

Apexon seeks a Data Visualization Architect to design, develop, and implement impactful dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and Power BI. Responsibilities include data validation, aligning infrastructure with best practices, collaborating with stakeholders, managing data migration and ETL processes, and providing training. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience as a Data Architect, expertise in Oracle products, strong proficiency in data migration and ETL, and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and O365 applications. The role involves working with various divisions within the agency and statewide partners to support agency financial management processes.

Role Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Data Visualization Architect to join our team and create impactful dashboards and visualizations that support various divisions within the agency. This role will involve designing, developing, and implementing data-driven applications while collaborating with internal and statewide partners.

You’ll be responsible for (Responsibilities):

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop dashboards using Tableau or Power BI (proficiency in both is a plus).
- Conduct thorough data validation to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Align infrastructure with industry best practices for data visualization.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align dashboards with business objectives.
- Manage data migration, modeling, and ETL processes.
- Provide training and documentation for agency staff on data visualization tools.
- Research and document findings to enhance agency financial management processes.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Data Architect.
- At least 3 years of experience with Tableau or Power BI.
- Expertise in Oracle products, including Oracle 19c, RDBMS, and PL/SQL procedures.
- Strong proficiency in data migration, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other O365 applications.

You’ll have (Qualification & Experience):

Bachelor's Degree in related field is required.
