Job Description

As a District Manager at AriensCo, you will actively engage with dealer partners to drive sales and boost the growth of Ariens and Gravely outdoor power equipment. You will be a trusted business advisor, manage dealer partner activities, and achieve sales targets. This role involves territory penetration, market share growth, and developing account-specific strategies. You will also provide regular feedback on sales forecasts and market trends. The job requires engaging with dealers in all aspects of the sales cycle, from prospecting to closing sales of Ariens Company products. Must have:
  • Actively engage and advise dealer partners.

  • Achieve sales targets.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field is preferred.
  • 2+ years experience in sales, dealer based preferred.

Job Description:

Ariens Company is thrilled to announce an exciting opportunity for a dynamic District Manager in our southwest Florida territory! This role is all about actively engaging with our dealer partners and serving as a trusted business advisor to drive sales and boost the growth of our Ariens and Gravely brands of outdoor power equipment. THE DAY TO DAY…

  • Actively engage and serve as a trusted business advisor to Ariens Company dealer partners to drive sales and incremental growth of Ariens and Gravely brands of outdoor power equipment

  • Manage and coordinate dealer partner activities to drive growth of both existing dealers and new dealer partners to achieve sales targets of commercial and residential outdoor power equipment products

  • Leverage available resources to achieve territory penetration and market share growth based on market opportunity

  • Manage business with existing dealer partners through development of account specific strategies to protect and grow Ariens Company’s business and share position within the dealer

  • Achieve territory growth through the development of new profitable business by building and maintaining sales pipeline of new dealer prospects in the territory

  • Provide management with regular feedback about the territory including sales forecast, market trends, competitive analysis, partner assessments, territory opportunity, etc.

  • Manage territory development through implementation of sales and marketing initiatives to drive organic growth and incremental sales and profit

  • Engage and support dealers in all aspects of the sales cycle including prospecting, qualifying customers, presentations, proposal generation, equipment demonstrations, handling objections, and closing sales of Ariens Company products to residential customers, commercial landscape contractors, government accounts, etc.

THE QUALIFICATIONS…

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, engineering or related is preferred

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered

  • 2+ years experience in sales, dealer based is preferred

  • Knowledge of power equipment is a plus

  • Ability to work remotely
