Job Description

The Drop Ship Specialist I manages and maintains orders and customer requests for Turn5, a company whose orders are shipped by a third-party supplier. Responsibilities include reviewing and resolving customer service requests, responding to vendor emails, handling vendor phone calls, creating ticket requests, updating order information (tracking numbers, shipment dates, cancellations), and performing other assigned tasks. Strong written and verbal communication, organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are crucial. Basic Excel skills and PC proficiency are required.

Description

The Drop Ship Specialist I position includes the management/maintenance of orders

and associated customer requests placed with Turn5 that are shipped to our customers by a 3 rd party

supplier.

Responsibilities

  • Review and resolve requests submitted to Turn5’s Customer Service team by our retail customers
  • Review and respond to inbound vendor email communications in the form of tickets
  • As needed, handle inbound phone calls from vendors and make outbound phone calls tovendors to assist with specific tasks
  • Create ticket requests for tasks and needed escalations based on provided information
  • Add order level updates to our systems such as entering tracking numbers, updating expected shipment dates, canceling orders, etc.
  • Perform other tasks and duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to learn and follow processes
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities
  • Active listener and good team collaborator
  • Basic Microsoft Excel skills
  • PC proficient
  • Not required, but a plus: Automotive knowledge and/or interest

Benefits

Candidate Location: Philippines

Job Location: Remote

Shift Timing: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST

Payroll via: Upwork Contract

Payment Currency: USD

Salary Range: $5 - $7 per hour

Payment Cycle: Weekly or Biweekly

Working Hours: 42 hours per week

Benefits: No additional benefits beyond hourly payment
