Job Description

Quantic Dream is seeking an Engine Programmer to join its Low Level Engine team. This role involves taking ownership of low-level engine services (audio, multithreading, etc.), ensuring their technological evolution and integration with higher-level services. Collaboration with other programmers and scriptwriters is crucial. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating these services, ensuring their reliability and performance across Windows and next-gen consoles, and working on projects such as memory management, job scheduling, and file systems.

Must have:

C++ expertise
Rigorous approach
Strong coding architecture skills
Low-level engine service ownership

Good to have:

Good communication
Game development experience
English proficiency
Wwise (Audiokinetic) knowledge

Job Details

Dans le cadre de son développement et pour ses prochaines productions très ambitieuses, QUANTIC DREAM étoffe notamment son équipe Low Level Engine.

Au sein du département R&D, celle-ci est en charge des services bas niveau (memory manager, job scheduling, file system...) sur l’ensemble des plateformes (Windows et consoles « next gen »). Elle s’assure, en relation avec les autres équipes de développement, de la fiabilité et des performances des différents jeux.

Vos missions au sein de l'équipe Quantic Dream :

Prendre en charge l'un des services bas niveau (audio, multithreading…).
Garantir la mise à jour ainsi que l'évolution technologique de ce dernier.
Pour certains de ces services, assurer leur intégration dans des services plus haut niveau.
Faire le lien avec les différents utilisateurs (programmeurs, scripteurs...).

Vos qualités qui feront la différence :

Maîtrise du C++
Rigueur
De très bonnes compétences en architecture de code
Bonne communication sera un plus
Expérience dans le développement vidéoludique sera un plus
Maîtrise de l'anglais sera un plus
Connaissance de Wwise (Audiokinetic) sera un plus
