About the job

Responsibilities

Overseeing smelting operations to ensure optimal efficiency and productivity

Developing and implementing operational procedures to maintain high standards of safety and quality

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive process improvements and cost-saving initiatives

Performing regular inspections and maintenance of smelting equipment and machinery

Training and mentoring junior team members to enhance their technical skills and operational knowledge

Conducting root cause analysis and implementing corrective actions to address any operational issues

Adhering to environmental and regulatory standards to support sustainable and responsible smelting practices

Participating in strategic planning and decision-making processes to optimize smelting operations

Contributing to the development and implementation of new technologies and best practices in smelting processes

Qualifications

4-8 years of experience in the Copper Business industry

Bachelor's degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related field
