Graphic Production Designer

We’re looking to hire a Graphic Production Designer for our retail client.  In this role, you will support visual design and production efforts across retail locations. This role collaborates closely with team members to develop in-store signage, promotional materials, pricing visuals, and large-scale environmental graphics.

The ideal candidate will be skilled in transforming approved creative concepts into detailed mechanical files that are fully aligned with brand guidelines and ready for print production.

This is a 12-month project opportunity available on a remote basis. We are considering candidates located within the continental United States who are eligible to work on a W-2 basis. C2C, 1099, and third-party arrangements will not be considered. 10-20 hours/week

Responsibilities: 

• Design and produce retail signage, wayfinding, and promotional graphics across a variety of formats.
• Support end-to-end development of storewide and campaign-specific graphic packages.
• Translate approved designs into final mechanical files for production and fabrication.
• Ensure brand consistency and visual quality across all in-store and environmental installations.

Requirements: 

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in graphic design and/or production design.
• A strong portfolio showcasing layout design, typography, composition, and color theory.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple fast-paced projects while maintaining attention to detail.
• Effective communicator, able to explain design decisions and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Self-starter who thrives both independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in design or production design.
• Familiarity with print production processes, specifications, and workflows.

Education Requirements:

• Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
