At Bally’s Interactive, we consider our Technology team to be the beating heart of the business. Our team is the driving force behind the powerful platforms that house all Bally’s Interactive brands and ventures. The incredibly diverse talents that make up our Technology teams include disciplines and skills such as Software Development, Architecture, QA, and Machine Learning.

As the Lead Android Developer at Bally's, you will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction of our Android development team. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage and inspire a team of developers, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery of projects. You will also be responsible for implementing and improving ways of working to optimize team performance and collaboration.

So, what will you be doing?

• Leading the Android development team, fostering collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Setting clear goals, conducting performance evaluations, and supporting team members' professional development.
• Overseeing project timelines, ensuring on-time and within-budget completion of development phases.
• Implementing best practices in agile methodologies and continuously improving team workflows and productivity.
• Driving the design, development, and maintenance of complex Android applications, providing technical guidance and making key architectural decisions.

And what are we looking for?

• Have extensive experience in Android app development using Kotlin.
• Be proficient in Android SDK, Android Studio, and Gradle.
• Have a proven track record of managing and delivering complex projects on time.
• Possess exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Be experienced with Agile methodologies such as Scrum.
• Have expertise in unit testing, instrumented testing, and continuous integration.
• Be skilled in responsive UI development and Material Design principles.
• Have experience in improving team processes and workflows to enhance productivity and innovation.
