Job Description

As a 3D Game Level Designer, you'll be responsible for designing and developing 3D game levels from concept to completion, ensuring alignment with the creative vision and gameplay mechanics. You'll collaborate with artists and other team members to integrate assets into the game environment, implement and adjust gameplay elements, and optimize levels for performance. Responsibilities also include mentoring junior designers and adapting designs based on playtesting and team feedback. This is a project-based role with potential for long-term collaboration.
Must have:
  • 3+ years experience in game level design
  • Proficiency in Unreal Engine, Unity, or similar
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Creative problem-solving and storytelling skills
  • Knowledge of level design concepts across various game genres
Good to have:
  • Experience with scripting languages (C#, C++, Python)
  • Experience mentoring junior designers

As a 3D Game Level Designer, you will play a key role in developing the interactive settings that the players will explore and engage with. You'll have the chance to use your creative and innovative vision to work with others in a team-oriented environment to develop engaging game levels. You will create and design game levels that offer captivating gameplay as well as stunning visuals. You will be involved in every phase of the level design process, from the first concept sketches to the last implementation.

Profile Preselection: Our Talent Acquisition team will review your profile to ensure it aligns with our requirements and values
Talent Acquisition Interview: Selected candidates will undergo an initial interview to discuss about their experience, skills, and fit for the role.
Online Test: Qualified candidates will be invited to complete an online assessment to demonstrate their abilities.
Technical Interview: Finalists will participate in a technical interview to assess their proficiency and compatibility with our team when a project staffing plan is made.

The Quest: 
  • Design and develop 3D game levels from conception to completion, ensuring they align with the creative vision and gameplay mechanics.
  • Work together with artists and other members of the team to smoothly incorporate assets into the gaming environment.
  • To improve player experience, implement and adjust gameplay elements such as interactive objects, puzzles, and enemy encounters. Adjust level designs in response to playtesting and team assessments.
  • Consider platform requirements and technical limitations when optimizing levels for gameplay balance and performance.
  • Help junior designers grow within the team by mentoring and supporting them and providing advice on design principles, best practices, and technical skill development.
The Skills: 
  • 3+ years of experience in game development, with a focus on level design.
  • Proficiency with 3D modeling and level design programs that are industry standard, such as Unreal Engine, Unity, or others.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • A creative approach to problem-solving and a drive to push interactive storytelling to its limits.
  • Knowledge of level design concepts for a variety of game genres, such as puzzle, adventure, and action games.
  • Proficient English with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
  • Collaborative spirit and love of teamwork
  • Experience with scripting or programming languages (e.g., C#, C++, Python) for gameplay implementation is a plus.
