Summary

The Manager of Food Affordable Special Project will lead the strategy and problem-solving for GoFood's affordable food offerings. This role involves launching a new, stealth-mode business within Gojek's ecosystem, from initial conception to market release. Responsibilities include translating the business vision into an MVP, designing the go-to-market strategy, collaborating with cross-functional teams (Product, Marketing, Sales, Research, etc.) to understand customer pain points, developing and implementing initiatives, creating strategy documents and metric analysis reports for upper management, conducting A/B testing, and performing competitive analysis. The ideal candidate will have a BS/MS in a relevant field and at least 5 years of experience in strategy, operations, revenue growth, or business analytics.

In this role,  you’ll lead strategy and problem-solving efforts to enhance GoFood’s affordable food offerings.  With focus on growing our newest offer, you’ll lead the first inception of our stealth-mode business and drive the production until its launch.
Every day, you’ll work on creating value with an innovative and affordable offer for the country’s favorite food delivery service. Exciting, right?

What You Will Do

    • Translate the new affordable business vision into a MVP release to the market and design the GTM strategy for its production launch.
    • Work closely with the Product, Marketing, Sales, Research, Driver/Region and Intelligence team to understand about customers (consumer, merchant and driver) pain points, define the business solution and lead the development and implementation of initiatives and strategies.
    • Introduce beneficial business changes through well-written strategy document (BRD) as well as key metric analysis reports as a basis of rationale and recommendations to upper management.
    • Operate the product solution, validate hypotheses through A/B test and defines the program to achieve business objective by combining multiple initiatives (e.g. campaign program and discovery product).
    • Conduct competitive benchmarking and analysis with local and international counterparts

What You Will Need

    • BS/MS in Engineering, Computer Science, Math, Economics, Statistics, or equivalent experience
    • Minimum 5 years of working experience in Strategy and Ops, Revenue Growth or Business Analytics
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, with proficiency in basic modeling (e.g., market sizing, business projections, scenario analysis).
    • Solid data-crunching skill, with knowledge of SQL and experimentation methodologies.
    • Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams, balancing attention to detail with strategic thinking in collaborative environments.

We focus on understanding the pain points of our unique untapped segment, then designing and implementing impactful, scalable solutions to bring them onto our platform. Food Affordable Growth pod is the think-tank of GoFood PAS demand growth. We combine insights and creativity, either to formulate long-term campaigns or short-term tactics.
