Job Description

As an Account Strategist at Google Customer Solutions (GCS), you'll work with businesses of all sizes to develop and implement data-driven advertising strategies. You'll conduct consultations to understand client needs, create long-term plans to optimize advertising solutions, and build strong partnerships to drive product adoption and business growth. Responsibilities include creating tailored advertising strategies, prioritizing customer experience, meeting growth goals, and ensuring optimal ROI for advertisers. You'll collaborate with the team to achieve market goals and implement creative solutions. Fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia is essential for this customer-facing role. The position focuses on helping small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs) grow using Google's advertising products.
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia
  • Data-driven planning & strategy
  • Client consultation & relationship building
  • Achieving growth goals and ROI
Good to have:
  • Experience with C-level stakeholders

Job Details

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing role.
  • Ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Indonesia fluently in order to interact in this customer-facing sales role.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Experience in driving business growth and building relationships with C-level stakeholders.
  • Experience in cross-collaborative stakeholder management.
  • Experience in sales, digital marketing, and e-commerce.
  • Excellent business acumen and sales skills.
  • Ability to succeed in an ambiguous environment with investigative, communication, problem-solving, creativity, and project management skills.
  • Ability to be organized, responsible, and work well with a team.

As the Account Strategist in the mid-market sales (MMS) team, you will offer products to Google Customer Solutions (GCS) customers.

Responsibilities

  • Create data-driven, long-term plans for different customers across verticals and industries within a geographical market to optimize advertising solutions and contribute to Google's growth.
  • Conduct consultations on a daily basis to understand customer needs and develop tailored advertising strategies, with proper analysis, research and preparation prior to the engagement.
  • Develop partnership with customers and agencies to drive product adoption and business growth to achieve mutual benefits for all parties involved.
  • Prioritize customer experience while meeting growth goals and ensuring optimal Return on Investment (ROI) for advertisers.
  • Work with the team to achieve market goals, implementing creative solutions, and sharing performance-enhancing suggestions.
