Job Description

Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) is seeking an MIS Support Specialist to monitor and respond to IT trouble tickets, install, test, and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment, and software. The role involves performing timely hardware and software upgrades, maintaining and repairing desktops, laptops, printers, and scanners, and troubleshooting wired/wireless networks. The specialist will also manage network and phone wiring, respond to technical assistance calls, attend scheduled meetings, and take on-call duties. The company utilizes advanced technology such as a 64 slice CT scanner, 1.5 MRI, 3D mammography, ultrasound, and ECHO.
Must have:

Company Description

Doctors’ Memorial Hospital (DMH) is a beautiful modern facility staffed by highly trained caring individuals. DMH provides an array of technology usually only found in large cities including a 64 slice CT scanner, 1.5 MRI, 3D mammography, ultrasound and ECHO. Other services provided at DMH include surgery, pediatrics, endoscopy, nuclear medicine and physical therapy. Our specialty clinic brings physicians such as cardiologists, urologists, orthopedists, dermatologists and oncologists to Taylor County so that patients will not have to travel to surrounding cities for these services.

Job Description

  • Monitors and responds quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT trouble ticket system as assigned and on an as needed basis.
  • Install test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software on an as needed basis.
  • Perform timely work station hardware and software upgrades as required.
  • Maintains and repairs desktops, laptops, printers and scanners on an as needed basis.
  • Troubleshoots wired/wireless networks on an as needed basis.
  • Manages network and phone wiring, responds to calls for technical assistance on an as needed basis.
  • Attends meetings as scheduled by supervisor.
  • Takes call as scheduled on an as needed basis. Answers call phone and responds timely to all calls.
