Job Description

The Network Engineer will be responsible for providing Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve network issues. This includes installing and configuring various network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls. The engineer will also perform system upgrades and monitor the performance of network devices. The role requires working in a 24/7 rotational shift. Responsibilities also include hands-on experience with switching, routing, and firewalls, as well as coordinating with vendors and ISPs for issue resolution.
Must have:
  • Hands-on experience in Switching & Routing.
  • Hands-on experience with Firewalls.
Good to have:
  • CCNA & CCNP certification.
  • Strong understanding of the ticket process & change management.
  • Experience in coordinating with vendors and ISP.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g. IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF)

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

  • Willing to work in 24*7*365 rotational shift.
  • Provide Level-2/3 support and troubleshooting to resolve issues
  • Install & configure various network devices and services (e.g., Wifi routers, switches, firewalls, VPN).
  • He should be able to Perform system upgrades including service packs, patches, hotfixes on devices like Juniper/cisco Nexus/FortiGate firewall.
  • Performance monitoring & bandwidth utilization of all devices present in current infra.

Must have:

  • Hands-on experience in Switching & Routing.
  • Hands-on experience with Firewalls (experience on FortiGate firewall will be 
    considered as an advantage).

Nice to have:

  • CCNA & CCNP certification would be considered as an advantage.
  • Strong understanding of the ticket process & change mgmt.
  • Experience in coordinating with vendors and ISP for problem resolution.
  • Deep understanding of networking protocols (e.g. IPSEC, HSRP, BGP, OSPF)
