Job Description

This role focuses on acquiring and nurturing new business accounts for Google's advertising solutions. The New Business Account Strategist will manage a portfolio of new customers, ensuring their long-term success with Google's digital advertising products. This involves delivering against assigned customer goals, providing an exceptional onboarding experience, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing strategies to improve customer relationships, offering performance-enhancing suggestions, promoting other Google products, and communicating effectively with customers via various channels. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills (fluent in Vietnamese and English), analytical abilities, and experience in advertising, consultative sales, or related fields. They will provide strategic advice to help customers maximize their return on investment (ROI).
Must have:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years in advertising/sales/marketing
  • Fluent in Vietnamese and English
  • Client relationship management
  • Strategic consulting & advice
  • Digital advertising campaign management
Good to have:
  • Master's degree in business
  • Experience in a matrixed organization
  • TV or media industry experience
  • Digital marketing campaign management

Job Details


Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2 years of experience in advertising, consultative sales, business development, online media environment, or marketing roles.
  • Ability to communicate in Vietnamese and English fluently to support client relationship management in this region.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in a business related field.
  • 2 years of experience working in a complex, matrixed organization.
  • 2 years of experience in the TV or media industry.
  • 1 year of experience managing digital marketing and advertising campaigns, projects, and relationships with customers or agencies.
  • Ability to reach out to customers/cold calling, help customers to add value to their business.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a new customer portfolio for six months to set them up for long-term success with their digital advertising journey.
  • Deliver against assigned customer goals while prioritizing and delivering an outstanding onboarding experience.
  • Work cross-functionally with sales, product, and program teams to deliver seamless customer handovers.
  • Implement creative ways to improve our customer relationships. Tailor and share performance-enhancing suggestions and promote other Google products.
  • Communicate with customers via phone, chat, and email. Provide strategic advice to help our customers get the return on their investment by working closely with them in a consultative role.
