In this exciting role of Payments Product Specialist, you will be contributing to our payment vendor roadmap and strategy on a group level ensuring the best payment method mix for different geographies and various brands. This includes resolving technical cases and supporting internal product and tech teams throughout various stages of payments product integrations.
Key Responsibilities:
● Working closely with the Business Development Payments team to realise improvements in the payment setup.
● Demonstrating ownership of problem spaces, such as sourcing new providers for specific markets and categories.
● Assessing and researching new solutions in terms of providers and suppliers.
● Negotiating commercial and contractual terms and documenting commercials accordingly.
● Analysing data on the performance of payment products and discussing them with providers to maximise payments performance.
● Identifying, recommending, and delivering improvements to the customer experience.
● Continuously updating and improving processes between our company and the PSPs.
● Managing the escalation of payment issues with providers and other departments.
● Maintaining provider relationships and following up on performance and metrics.
● Communicating product changes to all relevant partners within the company.
● Maintaining documentation of payment methods, including administrative tasks and provider contacts, to ensure the organisation is up-to-date and trained on all payment methods.
Our perfect Candidate has:
● 2+ years of Business Development experience, preferably within the online payments or gaming industry.
● Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
● Advanced understanding of the payments ecosystem, including merchant needs, gateways, acquirers, card schemes, payments operations, and reporting portals is preferred.
● Basic data analysis skills to draw conclusions from payment performance data.
● Ability to create presentations on provider performance.
● Proven ability to work effectively with international, multicultural, cross-functional teams and internalise new processes and developments in a highly dynamic industry.
● Proven ability to negotiate, solve problems creatively, and exhibit excellent organisational skills.
● Ability to collaborate with stakeholders across various teams and geographies, often managing different priorities.
● Detail-oriented with multi-tasking abilities – willing to delve into the details of processes and technology to improve our KPIs while balancing multiple tasks and projects.
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
● Excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both oral and written) are mandatory.
