Summary

The Senior Account Analyst at Hasbro leads collaborative efforts across teams to ensure accurate order preparation and shipment. This role requires managing accounts, aligning orders with financial goals, and adhering to vendor compliance. Responsibilities include project management, analysis, customer relationship development, order discrepancy resolution, inventory management, and risk mitigation. The Analyst works closely with Sales, Logistics, and other teams to optimize shipping plans, resolve in-transit issues, and improve processes. They also mentor junior team members and handle occasional evening/weekend coverage.
Must have:
  • 3-5 years Account Management exp. in Consumer Products/Manufacturing
  • Strong analytical, communication, and follow-up skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel), SAP, and BI (preferred)
  • Manage and prioritize multiple tasks with high accuracy
  • Lead collaborative efforts to ensure accurate order fulfillment

The overall objective is to lead the collaborative effort among cross functional teams to ensure that orders are accurately prepared for shipment. The expectation is that each account will be managed accurately while evaluating that the orders are in alignment with the account’s financial goals and ensuring that shipments are in accordance vendor compliance requirements.

 

In addition, the Account Analyst is required to regulate all projects and analysis related to their specific accounts and the overall department. These individuals are one of the key faces to our valued customers, and they are required to develop and maintain positive relationships with contacts at these key accounts.
 

 

What You'll Do:

  • Impact the business by directing the orders for the accounts that are highly visible and drive volume through the supply chain process in collaboration with the Domestic Teams, and communicate order adjustments directly to the customer or Sales/Replenishment
  • Work in partnership with Trade Merchandise, Sales, Flow and Logistics Teams on the overall process for projects associated with “Out of Aisle” representation at retail
  • Secure and align inventory as advised by the Flow Team to ensure accurate version distribution and timely product availability for featured items at retail.
  • Resolve purchase order discrepancies by partnering with Order Policy, Replenishment, Data and the Sales Team
  • Analyze open orders compared to allocation plans and available inventory and assign is directly to Sales Orders using SAP automated transaction tools
  • Provide expert advice and recommend a plan of action when appointed arrival dates are at risk of being delivered on time.
  • Address in-transit issues by acting as a bridge between Logistics and Sales to remove obstructions and ensure accurate course of action is taken to resolve issue
  • Overcommunicate during peak times with Management, Logistics, and Replenishment to determine optimum shipping plans that ensure we are meeting customer deadlines and aligning with corporate shipping goals
  • Continually evolve with retail guidelines and analyze processes associated with account management to establish best practices
  • Assist Compliance Analyst in researching deductions, understanding root cause and adjusting order management processes as necessary
  • Incorporate some evening and weekend coverage during end of months/quarters (if needed).
  • Mentor and train New Hires/Analysts
     

 

What You’ll Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or related degree
  • 3-5 years of Account Management in the Consumer Products/Manufacturing field.
  • Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks, focus on detail accuracy and exemplify solid follow-up skills
  • Strong verbal, written and analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of data
  • Specialist in Microsoft Office – specifically Excel
  • Proficient in SAP and familiar with BI preferred

 

Compensation Range (USD):

Starting: $56,900
Ending: $105,600
