Project Manager (IT) V

Onward Search is a specialized staffing and talent solutions company that helps professionals find top jobs with the nation’s leading brands. We’re looking to hire a Project Manager (IT) V for a global e-commerce leader known for its innovative culture and cutting-edge technology.

You’ll join the Tax Operations team to support cross-functional projects, product coordination, and business process improvements. This is a 6-month contract opportunity. The role is located in Austin, TX, with a hybrid schedule (3 days on-site per week).

Project Manager (IT) V Responsibilities:

• Manage ongoing and new projects, ensuring cross-functional coordination and timely execution.
• Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and collaborate with product teams on tax-related initiatives.
• Oversee testing for new product launches, including defining requirements, test plans, and troubleshooting issues.
• Work with analytics teams to track metrics, assess risks, and drive data-driven decision-making.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across eBay’s global Tax, Product, and Engineering teams to align priorities and optimize workflows.
• Identify and implement process improvements for indirect tax initiatives and product integration.

Project Manager (IT) V Requirements:

• 10+ years of experience managing complex, cross-functional projects in large enterprises.
• Strong background in Agile, Jira, and Scrum environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with project management tools (e.g., JIRA, Confluence, Monday.com, Google Workspace).
• Nice to have: Background in data analytics, tax systems, or product management.
• PMP certification preferred but not required.

To qualify for our benefits package, you must work over 30 hours per week, and the length of the assignment must be a minimum of 10 weeks.
