We offer merchants an end-to-end payments solution that provides authorization and settlement capabilities, as well as instant access to funds and payouts. We also help merchants connect with their customers, process exchanges and returns, and manage risk. We enable consumers to engage in cross-border shopping and merchants to extend their global reach while reducing the complexity and friction involved in enabling cross-border trade.

Job Description Summary:

The Senior Analyst, Global Risk will be responsible for managing the preparation and filing of state license applications and renewals within the United States. The right candidate is a self-motivated individual that is able to effectively work and communicate collaboratively / cross-functionally with multiple teams. The right candidate must have a hands-on approach, strong management skills and attention to detail and organization.

Job Description:

Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities:

  • Ensure appropriate governance is in place for critical Licensing information
  • Ensure compliance with all license requirements held
  • Communicate progress toward key licensing initiatives to senior leaders
  • Complete applications for new licenses and license renewals to enable PayPal’s product offerings
  • Prepare quarterly, semiannual, annual and any other miscellaneous state reports.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to source data and other requirements to fulfill reporting demands (call reports, transaction data, and compliance information).
  • Review state regulatory requirements and update PayPal procedures and calendars to ensure compliance.
  • Perform additional tasks and projects as assigned.

Requirements – Basic Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience in the preparation of state regulatory reports preferred (including money transmission, gaming and lending)
  • Experience in use of Nationwide Multi-State Licensing System (“NMLS”) preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Demonstrated ability to think critically and solve problems in an innovative manner
  • Excellent communication and relationship management skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality

The U.S. national annual pay range for this role is

$64000 to $156750
