The Senior Performance Executive is responsible for implementing the performance strategy for a range of clients, from ecommerce to pharmaceutical, aged care and tourism, leveraging paid channels such as Google AdWords, Microsoft Ads, Meta, Amazon Ads and TikTok.
The Senior Performance Executive will be delivering best in class paid search & paid social implementation and execution, and making sure tasks assigned are executed promptly, efficiently and effectively to help the team meet clients’ objectives and expectations. You have an opportunity to develop and hone your understanding of the digital marketing landscape and how all channels play a role in delivering a desired business outcome.
The ideal Senior Performance Executive is a diligent, highly organised individual that can adhere to deadlines and effectively support the Performance Manager on all clients’ requests/tasks. Good communication skills, understanding a client’s business are all critical elements to deliver success in this role.
You will be part of a high-performing, dynamic and adaptive team, with an appetite for driving results for the clients on SEM. You will have direct exposure to the other digital specialist teams, account management and activation teams, with clear opportunities for growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities
Operations & Strategy
Be responsible for the implementation of best practice Search campaigns
Understand our clients’ business challenges and needs and integrate them in the implementation of Search campaigns
Support the Performance Manager in activating day to day Search campaigns
Obtain and maintain Google qualifications as well as other platforms (Bing/SA360 etc)
Communication and Education
Build effective working relationships with staff and key clients
Manage and coordinate client and internal communications and relationships with respect to Search campaigns
Expectation setting for clients and internal team
Sharing of knowledge and expertise to clients and internal team
Campaign Management
Monitor and manage day to day running of paid search accounts for clients
Ensure all accounts are set-up to adhere best practice & restructure inherited accounts where necessary
Forecast accurately expected performance of campaigns for clients with the support of the Performance Manager and Senior Executive
Reporting
Ensure accurate reporting of results to clients
Deliver weekly, fortnightly or monthly reports accurately and on time to clients
Interpret performance of campaigns and give insightful recommendations to clients about ways to improve
Integrate automation where possible for time saving
Development
Present internally about latest industry trends
Collaborate with other digital specialists and client management teams
Educate the wider Village team about search campaigns and how they help our clients
Skills, Experience and attitude:
At least 2+ years’ experience within digital media with a proven track record
Strong understanding of SEM, performance media and biddable landscape, suppliers, and technology
Proven experience in running complex and effective performance media campaigns
Basic understanding of paid social media and Amazon Ads landscape
Awareness of other digital channels and how they work cohesively is a plus
Excellent written and oral communication and presentation experience
Experience working with and managing clients
Demonstrated ability to present your strategic recommendations to external and internal clients using clear and articulated reporting formats
High level of competence with Microsoft Office packages and Google Sheets
Solid interpersonal and teamwork abilities
Desirable:
Familiarity with dashboards
Familiarity with Amazon Ads, Meta Ads and TikTok Ads
Strong analytical skills - able to analyse & draw conclusions from data, and comfortable presenting quantitative information in a client context
Eager to learn new concepts and challenge the existing business framework
A thirst for knowledge and learning, proven with specific instances of self-learning and development potential
Experience working with Google Analytics, Adobe etc a bonus but not essential
