The Senior Partnerships Manager, NA at Team Liquid will oversee partnerships, drive growth, and ensure smooth execution of partner projects. This role involves building and strengthening relationships with partner organizations, managing projects and deliverables, coordinating with internal teams, identifying opportunities to expand partnerships and increase revenue, tracking financial performance, producing detailed reports, and overseeing the sales process. Responsibilities include building networks with clients, agencies, and brands, ensuring partner satisfaction, driving high-level projects, working with other teams to exceed goals, and contributing to process improvement. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in B2B sales and account management, preferably in media or sponsorships, with a proven track record of closing sales and expanding business relationships. A genuine interest in gaming and esports is essential.

The Opportunity:

In this role, you’ll oversee partnerships, drive growth, and ensure smooth execution of partner projects. You’ll work with multiple departments to provide exceptional value to our partners while contributing to Team Liquid’s global success in the gaming and esports ecosystem.

Location: Los Angeles, CA. Candidates are required to be located in Los Angeles and be in our Facility in Santa Monica at least three days a week.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Partnerships:
    • Build and strengthen relationships with partner organizations.
    • Manage projects and deliverables for assigned partners.
    • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless communication and delivery.
    • Identify opportunities to expand current partnerships and increase revenue.
    • Track financial performance and ensure partnership costs align with goals.
    • Produce detailed reports showcasing the impact and value of partnerships.
  • Sales:
    • Oversee the sales process, from identifying opportunities to finalizing contracts.
    • Maintain a portfolio of business accounts and meet revenue targets.
    • Build networks with clients, agencies, brands, and vendors through events and meetings.
    • Ensure partner satisfaction and identify new opportunities across Team Liquid’s platforms
  • Team Development:
    • Drive high-level projects to improve department efficiency.
    • Work with other teams to meet and exceed partnership goals.
    • Help team members exchange knowledge and gain experience.
    • Contribute to process improvement and establish best practices within the department.

What You’ll Need:

  • 4+ years of experience in B2B sales and account management, preferably in media or sponsorships
  • Proven track record of closing sales and expanding business relationships
  • Genuine interest in the gaming, sports, and team/fandom ecosystem
  • Exceptional presentation and negotiation skills
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, PowerPoint, and other relevant software
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and ability to work both self-directed and within a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Ability to travel regionally up to 20%

Benefits:

The salary range for CA is: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year, with performance-based bonus opportunities
